Follow this Indian Hunting Party on their journey to feed their tribe. The Scout is leading the way while the Warriors are in the middle and flanking Chief. The feathers on the staffs denote that warrior was brave in war or won a battle. The horses are decked out in a variety of symbols for protection, alertness, and good omens.
The artist painted this for her mother because she loves everything Native American Indian. Many hours of research went into this painting to accurately portray an Indian hunting party; from the symbols on the horses, types and number of feathers on the staffs to early mornings and late evenings to capture Colorado sunrises and sunsets.
