Thank you for supporting independent art! Every order from Cherie Smittle Art is handled with care. Please review our shipping guidelines below to understand how your items are processed, shipped, and delivered.
1. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

Free Shipping: We are proud to offer Free Standard Shipping on select collections and high-performance apparel (such as our running hats). Look for the "Free Shipping" badge on eligible product pages.

Calculated Shipping: For all other items, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the package weight, dimensions, and your delivery destination.
2. Processing & Fulfillment Times
Because we offer a mix of original art, hand-painted custom pieces, and print-on-demand items, fulfillment times vary by product category:

In-Stock Items & Apparel: Processed and handed over to the carrier within 2–5 business days.

Print-on-Demand (POD) Products: Items like specific apparel styles or specialized merchandise are printed just for you when you order. Please allow 5–10 business days for production before these items ship.

Custom Commissions & Footwear: Custom hand-painted shoes, purses, and original commissions have unique timelines based on the current queue. Please refer to your specific commission agreement or product listing for estimated creation times.
Please Note: If your order contains a mix of in-stock and print-on-demand items, they may ship in separate packages at no extra cost to you so you get your items as quickly as possible.
3. Shipping Carriers & Tracking
We ship via major carriers (including USPS, UPS, and FedEx) to ensure safe and reliable delivery. Once your order has been fulfilled and a shipping label is printed, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number.
4. International Shipping & Customs
We offer international shipping to select countries.

Customs and Import Taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply to their order.

Delays: We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by customs processing or carrier backlogs.
5. Damages & Carrier Liability
Once a shipping label is printed and the package is scanned by the carrier, the artwork becomes the shipping carrier's liability.

If your item arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging or exhibits poor printing quality, please review our Return and Refund Policy or contact us directly at theArtist@cheriesmittleart.com within 30 days of receipt with photos of the issue so we can arrange an exchange.
