Bear Bones is a tribute to the artist's late brother-in-law, a 6'7" man known for his warm "bear hugs." Inspired by Sugar Skull art and American Traditional tattoos, the piece uses bright colors against a gray skeletal background to celebrate life and honor the dead in the joyful spirit of Día de los Muertos.
