Mount Elbert is the tallest Peak in the US, Canadian Rocky Mountains, and is located in Leadville, Colorado. The artist loves the Leadville area and this winter she did a ski trip at a local ski resort, Cooper. Her Homeaway had an unobstructed view of Mt. Elbert and the range, of course, she had to draw it.
