The "Mountain Recon" drawing was completed in 2018 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring a Bear and its paw with a mountain scene from the artist's hike up Kingston Peak in Colorado.
In the Colorado mountains, a majestic bear wandered through the glistening snow under the watchful North Star. Guided by the star’s twinkling light and the forest’s magic, he discovered an ancient pine whose bark shimmered with a golden glow, revealing a cozy, radiant hollow.
