The "Columbine Floral Blood Moon" drawing was completed in 2022 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring a dotwork full moon with columbine flowers and a butterfly.
About the artwork: We had a full blood Moon in May, the month of flowers, so the Moon was called a Floral Blood Moon. Since the artist lives in Colorado she chose the state flower which is a Columbine. The Moon was completed in the stipple style (dotwork).
