About the design: The "St. Mary's Glacier" painting was completed in 2018 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring St. Mary's Glacier.
The semi-permanent snowfield is located in the Arapaho National Forest and the Artist's neighborhood. A frequent attraction for weekend hikers due to the stunning views of Colorado's Rocky Mountains. The artist is fortunate enough to hike the glacier anytime she pleases, she has even found a secret route up that follows a waterfall :) In her own flair the artist added a wispy columbine flower in the sky representing Colorado.
