About the design: The "Colorado Wolf" drawing was completed in 2018 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring a Wolf and a mountain scene from her hike to Loch Lomond set inside the Colorado flag.
You can often hear wolves howling in the artists neighborhood which inspired her to drawing of one. In this piece she set the wolf inside the Colorado flag. To make her flag unique she made the C stained-glass and added the mountain range from her hike to Loch Lomond in the Arapahoe National Forest.
Did you know the Colorado flag colors all stand for something? The Blue represents the sky, Yellow the abundant sunshine and gold found in our mountains, Red is the color of our soil and the White our snowcapped mountains.
