About the design: The "CO Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods" drawing was completed in 2018 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring the beautiful Colorado Springs landmark of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The entire scene is set inside the Colorado flag.
The artist enlisted the help of her community to help decide which Colorado C to use. The woodgrain won by a landslide.
Inspired by the beauty of Pikes Peak's snowcapped mountain with Garden of the Gods in the foreground. One of the artist's favorite places to rock climb, cycle and hike is in Garden of the Gods. Where at every turn you are greeted by breathtaking vistas.
