About the design: The "Aspen Dreams" painting was completed in 2018 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring Cataract Lake near Silverthorne, CO.
The artist's husband's favorite tree is the Aspen. He finds it fascinating that a stand of trees is considered a singular organism. He also enjoys the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind and the brilliant display of colors throughout the year. So, in honor of her husband, the artist painted Aspen Dreams.
