Say Thank You, Congratulations, Happy Birthday, I’m Sorry, Get Well Soon or You Rock My World with Cherie Smittle Art cards. These cards are intentionally left blank so you can send a handwritten heartfelt message using regular ballpoint pens showing you really care.

These high quality matte paper cards are digitally printed using inkjet printers on 111 lb. card stock with triple coating to boost to the contrast of the image. This allows for flawless ink transfer and adhesion resulting in exceptional image quality with very little glare. The complimentary envelope is also made of thick premium quality paper to complete these fantastic cards.

About the design: The Beautiful Shadow Lady is a blending of Sugar Skull and American Traditional Tattoo art style, with lots of symbolism and hidden objects to add more meaning.

The sugar skull itself is a representation of a departed loved one, her grandmother. Since COVID has taken so many loved ones the artist thought this piece would resonate with others as well. The frame has butterflies which are a representation of a transformation (the triumph of the spirit and the soul over the physical prison). Her necklace has a Black Widow (in honor of the Avenger - she is one of my favorites, and is a badass) and a ghost emoji (the artist thought he was cute and went with the theme) and to round out the necklaces she added a cross because she is a believer. The pink roses represent felinity, refinement, sweetness and elegance and the orange roses represent life, energy, passion and excitement.

Together these symbols round out the overall meaning of the piece - Even though your loved one has passed think of it as a time of transformation, breaking away from their physical prison to revel in the afterlife. Honoring the sweet elegance of the person who was full of life and passion but not afraid to kick some ass when the time came.

The artist had fun working on this design combining the two styles together and learning more about Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) and Santa Muerte.
