"Banjora" the Australian Aboriginal meaning for Koala.   Completed in 2020 by artist Cherie L. Smittle featuring a Koala Bear designed in the Aboriginal style (dotwork) packed full of Symbols.

About the design: The artist was heartbroken by all the wildlife destroyed or misplaced by the wildfires in Australia and wanted to do something with her art to help.  She created this cute little koala done in the Aboriginal art style packed full of symbols (see below).

Art with Heart : To further help on-going wildlife rescue efforts the artist will donate $5 to WIRES.  WIRES is Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organization. WIRES has been rescuing and caring for sick, injured and orphaned native animals for over 35 years, and our mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same.
