About the artwork: This piece was created for the artists dad who loves Wile E Coyote. She chose this scene because the facial expressions on Road Runner and Wile E Coyote is classic for this cartoon. The addition of the rocket to help the coyote run faster shows his creativity in trying to catch his dinner. In doing research for this piece, the artist noticed that all the backgrounds were set in the desert so this one also had to be. Finding placement for the vegetation to balance the artwork but not distract from the figures was a fun challenge.
