The semi-permanent snowfield is located in the Arapaho National Forest and near the the Artist's cabin. A frequent attraction for weekend hikers because of the stunning views of Colorado's Rocky Mountains and glacial lakes. The artist is fortunate enough to hike the glacier anytime she pleases, she has even found a secret route up that follows a waterfall :) In her own flair the artist added a wispy columbine flower in the sky representing Colorado.
