About the Artwork: The artist calls the mountains home and feels like she is living in the most wonderful dream. Her favorite constellation is the Big Dipper (Ursa Major, Big Bear), she loves to watch its rotation across the sky above her cabin throughout the year. So naturally, she had to hide it in the stars. The circle represents the sun and moon. The compass always helps her find her way around the Arapahoe National Forest as she is hiking, snowshoeing and backcountry skiing.
