Art on Fire!

I have decided to add wood burned art to my website!

Pyrography (wood burning) has quickly become one of my favorite mediums.  I love how the burning brings out different colors in the wood.  Finding the perfect piece of wood for the art I want to create is also a lot of fun.  I have used a couple types of wood and found my favorites are Cedar because the smell of the wood is intoxicating and Pine.  It does not hurt that I have a whole forest at my disposal and a neighbor with a saw mill.
